multiple sclerosis research funding

About Us

kim albinThe Cure MS Foundation was established in early 2008 by Kim Albin. Kim is a National Multiple Sclerosis Society/Greater Illinois Chapter (NMSS/GIC) long time volunteer and Board of Trustees member. Diagnosed with MS in the prime of her life with 3 children still at home and a busy professional life, Kim was eventually forced to quit working outside the home. Now Kim’s passion and profession is to do whatever she and a group of dedicated volunteers can to find a cure for the disease that so abruptly interrupted her life and the lives of 400,000 others in this country. Find out what Kim and Clay Walker have in common.

Mission
Join us -- While we strongly believe that research and development into this mysterious illness are crucial, we have chosen to donate all proceeds for now to helping people living with multiple sclerosis pay for their day to day expenses. It is estimated that the cost of having this disease is 60K a year and growing. There are thousands of people, a new person every hour diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, and many of them need our help now so we need your help now!

kimGoal
Cure MS Foundation exists to become the suburban Chicago fundraising organization with hopes to grow each year in both participation and money raised to help people living with MS throughout the state of Illinois. Our hope is to expand to other underserved communities throughout Illinois by increasing revenue and people helped every year.
